Great American Cheeseburger at Bagger Dave’s
Bagger Dave’s is a tri-state hamburger restaurant, with locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. The Centerville location comes with all the comforts and amenities you’d expect from a national chain store – including a running locomotive that runs around the top of the entire place. Other than burgers, they do have a full bar, homemade sodas and shakes/malts. A great family atmosphere and has a number of televisions around for watching sporting events. Very clean and the service is good.
Now on to the main event…
As a typical “gourmet burger” restaurant, they definitely have a ton of options available on the menu. you can even custom create your own burger if you are daring enough.
But being the traditionalist I am, it always makes sense to establish a “baseline” and order the classic cheeseburger to see what they are really all about. Anyone can cover up a subpar sandwich with gobs of sauce, onion rings or whatnot. If they can make a great burger, then their Great American Cheeseburger should shine.
This burger comes standard with: American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and a grilled sesame seed brioche bun.
Honestly, I was blown away at what was given to me – especially from a “chain style” restaurant. In terms of presentation, the burger was very thick and juicy. All the condiments were fresh and by all accounts looked like a great burger when placed in front of me. But once I took a bite, I realized that his was a very special burger indeed!
It didn’t take long to put it away. Each bite was just as tasty as the first. There really is nothing more I can say than this is a GREAT HAMBURGER. I would recommend giving it a try to anyone who also loves this cuisine, because they do not disappoint at Bagger Dave’s. I most definitely will have to try some of their other “specialty” hamburgers in the future, but just knowing that the Great American Cheeseburger is available will make it difficult for me to order anything else. It was that good.
Do yourself a favor and go try this burger. You will not be disappointed. And for me, the best rating I can give a place is simply answering the question…
“Would I come back here again?” The answer to that is MOST DEFINITELY.

Their french fries are of decent size and not greasy (at least mine weren’t). But the real “added bonus” is that they have a variety of dipping sauces for the fries that are outstanding. I had the Buffalo Garlic sauce and it made the experience that much better.
